ރައީސް އޮފީހުގެ ޗީފް ކޮމިއުނިކޭޝަން ސްޓްރެޓެޖިސްޓް އަދި ރައީސްގެ ތަރުޖަމާނު އިބްރާހިމް ހޫދު މިއަދު ވިދާޅުވީ މާލީ ބަޔާން ހުށަހަޅަން ވަކި މުއްދަތެއް ދީފައިވާ ކަމަށާއި އެ މުއްދަތު ފަހަނައަޅައި ދިއުމުގެ ކުރިން ވަޒީރުން މާލީ ބަޔާން ހުށަހަޅުއްވާނެ ކަމުގެ ޔަގީން ކަން އެބަ އޮތް ކަމަށެވެ

މިހާތަނަށް މާލީ ބަޔާން ހުށަހެޅުއްވީ ކިތައް ވަޒީރުން ކަން ހޫދު ހާމައެއް ނުކުރައްވަ އެވެ. އަދި މާލީ ބަޔާން ހުށަހަޅަން ޖެހޭ ވަކި މުއްދަތެއް ވެސް ވިދާޅެއް ނުވެ އެވެ. އޭނާ ވިދާޅުވީ އެ މައުލޫމާތު ފަހުން ހާމަކުރައްވާނެ ކަމަށެވެ

Government officials to publicize finances

The cabinet members of the new administration and those assigned to public companies, and independent institutions ordered to reveal their financial statements to the public.

Although it is not madated as per the constitution, top officials of the government and their spouse’s financial statement will be revealed to the public. Additionally, the government will establish methods to review their statements on a regular basis.

President Solih’s government has introduced 20 ministry’s along with the appointment of the attorney general. In addition, 10 appointments have already been made to various posts in the President’s Office.
